In 1991, a native Texas family conspired to create a beautiful setting in the Hill Country where folk could gather and enjoy good food and drink. In the spirit of Texas hospitality, Scenic Loop Cafe & Bar was born. “We wanted a place where we would like to go, where we could wear our jeans or dress up depending on our mood or the occasion, and a special place where friends would meet to celebrate life’s moments!”

For our guests, we wanted a lush garden patio complemented by cool evening breezes, warm fires and the sound of Texas music. We are proud to offer “fresh handmade” food ranging from prime steaks and seafood, to Tex-Mex, burgers and our anything but standard, Chicken Fried Steak.

From the beginning, “the Loop” (as it has become affectionately known) has grown from its original main building by the adding private party facilities in the second year to accommodate the growing requests for events and celebrations. In 2005, the Arbor was constructed. In 2007 the newest addition, the Patio Bar opened to give guests a superb view of the stage and shady place to enjoy our Award Winning Custom Margaritas.
